Letter G & End of Summer Fiesta

This Week Letter G

We learned about grass, goats, gorillas, gak, and the color green. We also made guacamole.

Songs/Finger Plays for Giraffes

One little, two little, 
Three little giraffes. 
Four little, five little, 
Six little giraffes. 
Seven little, eight little, 
Nine little giraffes. 
Ten little giraffes with long necks!

Monday

On Monday our little ladies helped decorate placement cards for our fiesta. Suzianne had fun using her index finger to poke circles. Avery made Mommy and Daddy a special piece as it was her first time doing art at Eco Baby. Ella Mae and Amia had great time rinsing the paint off their hands. They all love the water so much.

Tuesday

Tuesday the girls had a blast squishing Green Gak (cornstarch & water).  After they enjoyed the caterpillars sprinkler, a great way to rinse them off after fun messy play.  Ella Mae is so cute when she tries to drink the water coming from the sprinkler. Amia enjoyed moving the water with her hand, making it splash. The girls also had fun gardening.

Wednesday

Wednesday was all about Giraffes. We learned a new song, Ten Little Giraffes. Suzianne really liked the idea of having a long neck like a giraffe. We also brought out an acoustic guitar for the girls to play with. Ella Mae loved the guitar and was really good at pulling the strings.

Thursday

Thursday was ridiculously hot. We filled up water bucket, and had the caterpillar sprinkler going to keep our ladies cool.  Avery loves splashing her little feet and toes in the water. She is growing so fast. Amia has really opened up and is so sweet :o) She had fun running back and forth getting a big hug and tickle at the end of her run.

Friday

Friday Suzianne had fun squishing avocados to make guacamole for our Fiesta.
