This week Letter F, Ella Mae turns one, Wallach goes to Preschool, New Teacher

This week Letter F

Monday

On Monday we celebrated Ella Mae’s first Birthday! Rebecca (Ella’s Mom) brought over some party favors. We also had muffins for last snack.

Wallach and Suzi painted frog plates. Wallach liked having his hand traced, while Suzianne did not. Miss Independent wanted to trace her own hand.

Tuesday

On Tuesday we fished for friends. This was to help the children learn one another’s names. Suzianne was quick to pick up Amia’s name and now everything is Amia.

Wednesday

Wednesday we had fun with flash lights. We closed the curtains and turned on all flash lights. All the children really enjoyed the flashlights. They really took an interest in turning them on and off.  We also read “Fox in the dark” to coincide with our flash light fun.

While the younger kids napped Wallach enjoyed gluing feathers on the letter F.

Thursday

On Thursday Suzianne and Amia both helped color Wallach good bye poster. What a great job gals!

 The kids have taken to coloring there play structure with chalk :o) Ella likes to wipe it clean.

 They love water play!

                                                         Friday

Friday we met our new Teacher Mrs. Brenda, she will be with us full time.

Friday we wished Farewell to Wallach! He will be missed!

Next week we will take a break from the Alphabet and focus on color.  I plan to incorporate color mixing with music into next weeks art projects. We will also sort objects by color and size and use color in our water play.
