This week crabs, lobsters and shrimp

****Reminder: Next week is a short week. We will only have school Monday-Wednesday****

 

Monday

On Monday we welcomed back Avery. We were happy to have her back at school :o) during outside play we played with the sand and water sensory table, and sand box. During inside play we enjoyed playing with little people and practiced pinching like a crab and lobster.

 

Tuesday

Tuesday we enjoyed a short neighborhood walk that ended at the thrift store. There our little ones enjoyed looking and playing with toys and reading a few books. We also enjoyed molding play dough and drawing with chalk. In the evening we practiced walking like a crab. Our little ones preferred riding Ms. Melissa like a horse.

 

Wednesday

Wednesday was a little rainy. During outside practiced walking sideways and pinching like a crab. We made the best of the rain and had fun catching rain drops. We also went for a short walk, our little ones enjoyed picking berries and running through the grass.

 

Thursday

Thursday we enjoyed a quick walk to the park. While at the park we participated in yoga and doing our animal poses. After yoga we played at the park. For art everyone stamped crab claws.

 

Friday

Friday we searched for shrimp in our sensory table. We also discovered how octopus ink the water. Later in the day we went for a walk we also played in the sandbox.
