Farm Unit Books
Tuesday
Tuesday we welcomed everyone back from a three day weekend
and also introduced our new unit on Farm Life :o) We enjoyed reading farm related story
books. But the most fun was using our farm sensory table, which included barn
animals, fruits and veggies and most important soil.
Wednesday
Wednesday we had an enjoyable morning molding play dough and
rolling corn onto our play dough. A little later we headed to the Kensington
Park where we also met neighbor Ella. It was such fun to hang with our buddy
Ella. We had a nice time swinging and taking turns on the slide.
Thursday
Thursday we headed over to the grassy knoll for sign language
and story time, little did we know it has now been moved to Tuesday at 11:30
a.m. So instead we went to the park. The sand box was the major attraction this
day. Our little ones had lots of messy fun molding wet sand into castles,
boats, and buildings.
Friday
In the morning we started off with play dough and glitter and
soon after headed out for our morning neighborhood walk. Upon returning from
our walk we enjoyed a little snack and a short video about manners. After we
had fun painting our egg yolks with yellow paint.
