Summer Week-June 3, 2013

Summer Week

Week of June 3, 2013

Monday

On Monday Suzianne and Amia were delighted to finger and foot paint with aqua colors.
High fiving Ms. Melissa because we're AWESOME!
Suzianne's Masterpiece, we decided it was a stingray.
                                                            Amia's beautiful foot painting.

All three children got to explore growing sea animal capsules. Wallach had fun stamping sea creatures into a beautiful sea creature collage. While the girls had a good time carrying the wrapper around.

Wallach is being so careful placing the foam sea animals down.

Tuesday

On Tuesday we discovered sea shells. Wallach was fond of locating shells by digging them up and then rinsing them off. The girls followed his lead and were also very curious to see what he would dig up.

Earlier in the day he had fun tracing shells in crayon.
Amia and Suzianne had a good time finger painting paper plate sun's. Suzianne cracks me up, she finger paints and as soon as she is done she let's me know:o)

Wallach guiding Amia is so adorable.
                                                                         Amia's sun!
                                                                           Suzi's sun!

Wednesday

Wednesday the kids really got to know the slide. Both Suzianne and Amia take note from Wallach and follow him up the stairs and through the tunnels.

Thursday

On Thursday we had visitors, who you may ask Romeo and Cuddles my parent’s two adorable miniature Chihuahuas. Both Amia and Wallach had fun petting the doggies; we used this time to practice gentle and nice.
Wallach made a sun of his own; he combined orange and yellow tempra paint. He also is learning how to use scissors; he really enjoyed cutting sun rays.

He also had fun creating a sea creature collage.

Amia really liked having Ms. Melissa cover her in tunnel and play peek-a-boo. She also loves drawing with chalk.

Friday

Friday we celebrated summer by making lemonade from scratch. Wallach had a good time squeezing lemons and stirring in the honey and water to make lemonade.

Amia is very brave and gives Ms. Melissa heart palpitations by running back and forth on the bridge, stopping right before the slide and laughing.

She is so adorable when she dressed up as a cowboy cheerleader.

She has also taken a liking to musical instruments.

Fun and Exciting Events
The Empress eats her ice cream.
Wallach the fire fighter reads us a story.
Amia maracas her way to the train station.

                                                               And to the kitchen.

Thanks Grandma for the delicious Spaghetti, I loved it!

And the big event, Suzianne uses a fork! Hurray Tiny, Ms. Melissa is so proud of you.
