Tuesday
Tuesday
was Amia’s first day at Eco Baby Childcare :o) what a big day for our little
Amia. She is alert and very assertive. I love to see her explore new ground and
make friends.
Wallach loved our visitor, Amia’s Grandma. He enjoyed sitting on
her lap and snuggling.
Wallach's beautiful
Paper roll frog :o)
Wednesday
Amia
out with a runny noseL
Suzianne
liked finger painting her toad green and enjoyed our new songs about frogs.
Wallach
was very interested in the frog cycle; he kept pointing and the frog eggs and
telling Ms. Melissa “eggee”.
He also enjoyed creating the paper bag frog
puppet and coloring the F is for frog coloring sheet.
Thursday
On Thursday
we made our paper mache frog bank. Suzianne liked ripping the paper into pieces
and placing each piece into the paper mache mix, without getting her hands
messy of course :o) Amia really enjoyed
holding the paper and moving it from side to side, she was also very helpful stirring. Wallach assisted in
measuring out our ingredients and stirring.
Friday
Friday
the kids really enjoyed our new play structure. Suzianne loves going down the
slide, while Wallach enjoys crawling through the tunnels.
Wallach
also learned all about circles with nifty frog circle art.
Songs
F is for Frog
Sung to the tune of Farmer in the Dell
The frog lives in the pond,
His tongue is oh so long.
It reaches high to catch a fly,
And then he sings this song.
Ribbit, Ribbit, ribbit
Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit
Hi, ho just watch him go
His tongue is oh so long!

F is for Five Little
Speckled Frogs
Five little speckled frogs,
Sat on a speckled log,
Eating the most delicious bugs.
Yum! Yum!
One jumped into the pool,
Where it was nice and cool,
Then there were four green speckled frogs.
Glub! Glub!
