Fall

This week our weather took a turn for the chilly. Now that fall is here we will be focusing on changes of the season, seasonal fruits and veggies, and fall holidays and events.

Monday
Monday we missed Suzianne and Amia. Avery enjoyed a little magazine time. She had fun sorting and tearing through the pages. Ella showed us her new vocabulary from Old McDonald had a farm. She now sings along with E-I-E-I-O.

Tuesday
Tuesday we created a fall sensory tub. Our tub contained pinecones, feathers, and bird seed. The girls loved touching, scooping and mixing the bird seed. They also enjoyed tossing the feathers and watching them float away.

Wednesday

Wednesday was a windy day. We took this day to describe wind and showed our little ones how leaves fly away in the wind. After our little dolls had fun painting fall leaves red and yellow. Suzianne understood the concept that yellow and red created a new color, orange. She is so bright!

Amia loved lunch and ate it by the hand full.

Thursday
Our little divas had fun creating their masterpieces, stamped sweet potato pumpkins.

Friday

Friday was a nice day for water play. Avery enjoyed playing with water and participating with her girlfriends.

 Ella loved lunch!
Amia and Suzianne had fun with a putting together a puzzle.

                                                              Amia yelling "Yeeeeaaaah!"
Suzianne has taken a liking to gardening.
